DECONSTRUCTION TOUR 2003

yesterday i went to the deconstruction tour '03. The show in general was amazing. There were some things i didn’t appreciate, like : too many kids (18 and below), an absolutely stupid wrestling show, the skate & bmx shows that never lasted long enough (the riders basically just had time to warm up, throw in ONE good trick, and leave). Zack Shaw, Sebastian Keep, Mad John, Stefan Geissler and some swiss guy were ripping the halfpipe.

ok, band lineup :

and last but not least : NOFX : i was looking forward to seeing them live. From what i’ve seen before, i expected Fat Mike not to sing in tune, but hey, it sounded really good! The crowd was going nuts too. I could only stay a couple of minutes (during 2 songs) at the front of the stage. I like the last nofx cd (War on errorism) a lot, but i think they’re kinda following the general trend. Anti-flag has been doing antiwar and antibush songs for over 2 years now. I guess u could label nofx as commercial punk rock, even if it’s hard to admit =(… oh well
