Basically, the bike is a mix of parts from the original build – which itself had parts of a previous bike – and from the first build of my Trailboss. Nothing actually broke, except a rear rim that got dented (skip to 10:47). When I run brakes – usually on trips – I use the ones generously offered by S&M after they fucked up the design of the frame. Speaking of trips, my little buddy got to see the world quite a bit in those 8 years:
- Montpellier, Palavas, Toulouse in August 2009
- San Jose, Woodward West, Huntington Beach (L.A.), Santa Ana (L.A.), Austin, San Francisco in January 2011
- Berlin in September 2011
- Barcelona in March 2012
- Bordeaux, Montpellier, Peynier in August 2012
- Vancouver in August 2013
- Barcelona in April 2014
- Charlotte, San Francisco in September 2015
- Málaga in April 2016

I actually never intended to make this series of pictures, and it reminds me very much of the travelling gnome of Le fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulain.
Besides travelling the world, my bike was also featured once in the S&M website’s news section, and can currently still be found on the Doodle Team page.
